Dr. Ines Vodopivec is deeply committed to advancing digital transformation in  theory and practice within heritage institutions on a global scale.

Her notable roles include serving as Deputy Director of the National and University Library of Slovenia, being a dedicated member of the UNESCO Memory of the World National Committee, and participating as a member of the IFLA Digital Humanities – Digital Scholarship Committee, the DARIAH Research Data Management Working Group, and the RDA Node Slovenia.
Previously, she held the position of Vice Dean at Nova University’s Faculty of Slovenian and International Studies, where she served as a distinguished University Professor specializing in interdisciplinary methodology and digital humanities.
By assuming the role of Secretary General of AI4LAM, she is further solidifying her leadership and influence in the fields of digital heritage and innovative methodologies. Ines is also a Management Board Member of the Europeana Network Association.
