AI4LAM is delighted to welcome the European Fashion Heritage Association as a Founding Member, strengthening its global community of cultural heritage institutions advancing the responsible use of AI.

The European Fashion Heritage Association (EFHA) is an international hub where fashion GLAMs (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums) and fashion brands collaborate by sharing digital heritage assets, expertise, and best practices in the fields of digitisation, access, and valorisation of fashion heritage resources. More than 50 cultural organisations are united by a common goal: to unlock and provide open access to Europe’s rich and diverse fashion and textile heritage. Through its extensive network, EFHA contributes to the creation of the world’s largest fashion heritage community.

The collaboration between AI4LAM and EFHA highlights the growing importance of cross-sector partnerships in the digital transformation of cultural heritage. By bringing together expertise in artificial intelligence, digital preservation, and fashion heritage, both organisations can foster innovation, support knowledge exchange, and develop approaches that make cultural collections more accessible, discoverable, and meaningful for researchers, professionals, and the wider public.

Every new member strengthens the AI4LAM community. Together, we are building a stronger voice for cultural heritage institutions in the rapidly evolving digital and AI landscape, ensuring that libraries, archives, museums, and galleries can actively shape the future of technology in ways that align with their values and public missions.
